Overview
Perry Construction Management oversaw a $6.2 million brownfield reconstruction project for a leading plant-based food and beverage manufacturer. The project expanded production capabilities at the Allentown, PA facility, enabling the manufacture of almond milk, chicken broth, and beef broth. PCM coordinated installation of aseptic production lines, advanced utility systems, and new sanitation infrastructure while minimizing disruption to ongoing operations.

Scope of Work
- Installation of two aseptic production lines with Clean-In-Place (CIP) sanitation
- Construction of wastewater treatment plant and retaining ponds
- Deployment of new electrical infrastructure, including switchgear, transformer, and power panel
- Addition of six silos and four CIP systems
- Integration of boiler, chiller, cooling tower, and air compressor systems
- Buildout of mix rooms and Vacuum Total Impregnation Systems (VTIS) for Lines 2 and 3
- Expansion of internal office space within an active facility
Results
The project was completed on time and within budget, resulting in a highly efficient, compliant, and sustainable manufacturing facility. With its expanded capacity and cuttingedge systems, the plant now produces a wide range of food and beverage products while meeting strict hygiene, environmental, and operational standards.
