Overview
Popular Food and Beverage manufacturer initiated the second phase of a $177 million expansion at their Brownsville, TX facility, aimed at transforming portions of existing frozen and dry warehouse space into modern production areas. The project includes the
construction of a new Line 6 and the reconfiguration of Line 4 to improve efficiency and boost capacity. Outdated infrastructure was demolished and replaced with upgraded production and storage areas designed to meet modern food safety and operational
standards.

Scope of Work
- Demolition of outdated structures and construction of expanded production areas for Lines 4 and 6
- Conversion of dry and frozen warehouse space into food production environments
- Modernization of facility infrastructure to comply with food safety standards
- Production optimization to support diverse product lines including cheese sticks, cheese bread, and fried shrimp
Results
The project significantly increased production capacity with the addition of Line 6 and upgrades to Line 4. Space utilization and operational efficiency were maximized through strategic warehouse conversions. The facility is now equipped to handle a wider variety of products with greater flexibility, all while meeting rigorous safety and compliance standards.
