Overview

Perry Construction Management led over $22 million in upgrades at a major food and beverage manufacturing 125,000-square-foot Rome, Georgia plant, home to a popular cookie brand production. These initiatives focused on boosting efficiency, safety, and

output through a combination of infrastructure repairs and advanced automation system installations—all aimed at modernizing the plant to meet increased production demands.

Scope of Work

  • Flooring repairs and plumbing replacements to improve facility safety and function
  • Installation of automated conveyor systems, robotic palletizer, slab wrapper, and case sealer
  • Increased melter capacity to support higher production volumes
  • Full roofing replacement to protect and preserve facility integrity

Results

The upgrades significantly enhanced operational efficiency and throughput by automating key production steps and modernizing critical infrastructure. PCM’s work created a safer, more reliable environment, while structural and capacity improvements future-proofed the facility for continued growth.
